The boat " Electric Blue" was purposly built in Phuket-Thailand as a game fishing vessel in 1999. Her home Port is at the Island of Koh Phi Phi (48 km from Phuket and 42 km from Krabi), which is perfectly situated in the middle of an excellent game fishing area. Her owner Bernd Künkel " Blue" has fished and worked on game fishing boats in New Zealand and East Africa and has over 25 years experience in game fishing. The last 16 years in the Andaman Sea and Thai waters, where he has gained the respect of many locals as a true professional fisherman. From his years of experience he built "Electric Blue" which is perfect for all kinds of game fishing.
Why Thailand:
The Andaman sea is one of the best fishing grounds in Southeast Asia and has a high diversity of species for Sport fishing. The excellent weather conditions around the area and calm sea's makes it one of the best fishing grounds around. The high season is from November to May. Electric Blue specializes in skipbaiting for Sailfish and Marlin. However live bait, trolling & spinning is also available.
